It's really important to stay on top of this. Many governmental agencies are run by corrupt lobbyist and so forth. I know crafting and soap makers etc,. are enjoying their autonomy. Let's make sure we all enjoy the freedom of owning and maintaining our small business instead of having to work for Walmart for minimum wage because the rules proposed put us all out of business.
Thank you for posting!

I am taking action today and sending letters to my representative. Another point to bring up - the government is cutting back on all kinds of jobs, and programs, many of which perform badly needed services. Can the government afford to pay for the enforcement of this unnecessary bill??!!

The biggest source of cancer causing chemicals is what comes out of our exhaust pipes and the rubber of our tires and the brake lining material and the asphalt of our highways etc. (all these things wear away, where do think they go?). So these government bureaucrates go after easy targets that will not tax their brains too much.

As the founder and president of Indie Beauty Network, I am excited to join forces with the Soap Guild to inject the voice of reason into the lawmaking process in Colorado and nationwide.
I am grateful to you Leigh for taking the leadership in this issue and for bringing it to the forefront of our attention. This pending legislation has the potential for affecting all of us not just those of you who are residents of Colorado. I look forward to your letter and will most assuredly take the necessary action to make my voice heard.
