FDA Globalization Act of 2008 - Legislators to Contact

Your Representative

Writing to your Representative is the most important thing, because your Representative is supposed to represent his/her constituents. If you don't know who your Representative is, or need contact information for him/her, you can look it up here.

Knowing if your Representative serves on a committe that could directly influence the outcome of the FDA Globalization Act of 2008 is important when you write or contact him/her. The most important committee at this time is the Committee on Energy and Commerce. Another Committee that could influence the outcome of the bill and its impace on small businesses is the House Small Business Committee, especially the Subcommittee on Regulations, Healthcare and Trade. Lists of the members of those committees are below.

If your Representative does serve on either of these committees, your letter, email, phone call or visit may have a much higher impact on the outcome of the proposed legislation. Even if your Rep is not on one of them, you should still contact him or her because he/she will be voting on the final bill if it goes to the House for approval.
