Autumn Moon Soap Co. soaps are cold-processed lye soaps made with plant oils and scented only with essential oils and edibles. They're free of artificial colorants, fragrances and chemicals. Good for you, good for Mother Earth. Because of the soap-making process, my soaps retain naturally-occurring glycerin, which softens skin. I also “superfat” my batches to make a more moisturizing bar. I make them in small batches in my home workshop, and I wrap each bar in a strip of colorful batik. My soaps are doing well here in Lancaster County, and i've received some wonderful feedback. My bars also make perfect shaving soaps and shampoo bars--one bar for the whole body!
