Soap Dance is a natural body care company located in Appleton, Wisconsin. My philosophy is to provide the highest quality body care products available anywhere. Founded in 2000, I specialize in natural, homemade soaps, creams, lotions and other body care products. My earth-friendly soaps are made using only the highest quality ingredients. My soap is handmade, by me, in small batches to adhere to my strict standards of perfection and ensure quality and freshness. I use Fair Trade, Unrefined Shea Butter in all my products! Each bar contains at least 10% shea and cocoa butters. The number one question I am asked is why my soap is better than other soap. The simple answer is the ingredients. If you use high quality ingredients you will get a h igh quality bar of soap. It is also about balance. You need the right ratio of cleansing oils to moisturizing and conditioning oils. I offer soaps that are free of harsh chemicals and additives. Compare Soap Dance soap to the ingredients in any commercial soap. Experience the difference in how your skin feels! Soap Dance products are:
What Is My Soap Made Of? My products are made with organic, fair trade and unrefined raw materials. The ingredients I use include Olive, Rice Bran, Castor, Cherry, Hemp, Apricot, Avocado, Meadowfoam, Kokum, Macadamia, Sunflower, Sweet Almond, Babassu, Palm Kernel, Shea and Cocoa Butters. Some soapmakers use tallow, which is derived from animal fat. When I began making soap, I wanted to use all vegetable products, based on my personal beliefs. Goatsmilk is also commonly used, which does make a nice bar of soap. Again, I choose to use non-animal products. In my soapmaking experience I have found that Coconut Milk is an excellent ingredient. It is not as widely known or used as goatsmilk, but contributes to a rich, prolific lather that can’t be beat. Essential and fragrance oils contribute scent; cosmetic-grade pigments impart color; and botanicals, spices and other natural ingredients add texture. | Soap Dance
