The HSMG Annual Conference is the largest event in the handcrafted soap industry. Normally held in late spring, it runs for three days and is open to both members and non-members. The location changes each year, cycling through eight regions in the United States, which makes it accessible and affordable, no matter where you are located.
A variety of speakers, both from inside and outside the handcrafted soap industry, cover topics of interest usually including various aspects of the science and art of soapmaking including hands-on demonstrations, marketing, promotion, websites, labeling, and a smattering of business concerns.
With the wide array of educational sessions, time to network with other soapmakers and "talk soap", exhibitor booths to explore and nights filled with entertainment, this is not an event you want to miss!
