The Associate Membership is for individuals who make soap, but do not market or sell to the public. It is intended for those who are learning the craft and making soap, but are not yet ready to go into the soapmaking business.

Associate Memberships include all member benefits except those that specifically relate to marketing and selling handcrafted soap. Personal members may vote, but not hold office.

By joining the Handcrafted Soapmakers Guild, you agree to abide by the HSMG Code of Ethics.

Membership Information

The membership will be processed with the name, address and contact information submitted in the shopping cart checkout process. Any information already on file within the HSMG will be updated to reflect the contact information submitted in the cart as we assume that is most the most up-to-date information.

Important Tax Notice

Due to the HSMG’s lobbying and advocacy activities, only 50% of your dues are tax deductible for the calendar year 2012. If you have any questions please consult you tax advisor.

PLEASE NOTE: Your membership will be processed in the HSMG office within 1 business day. At that time you will be sent an email with your member number, membership details and HSMG Member Area log-in information.
