HSMG Teacher Program

Launched in early 2012, the HSMG Teacher Program provides a way for those interested in learning to make soap and body care products to find qualified teachers in their area and to search for upcoming classes.

In order to qualify for the Teacher Program, an indivudal must:

  • be an HSMG Professional Soapmaker member in good standing
  • have Professional Liability Insurance coverage in force
  • have completed a minimum number of teaching hours
  • have HSMG Soapmaker Certification to the teaching level

Inorder to qualify for the Teacher Program, the HSMG member must submit an application documenting the fulfillment of the requirements. Upon approval, the teacher may list classes and use the HSMG teacher logo.

The Teacher Program is offered only to HSMG members and is entirely voluntary.
