1. Hello, each soap at LuZunika headquarters are made by me in my humble home. I make sure I make each soap with thought,handcrafted with my own recipe's and I pick natural ingredients. I love Essential oils but once in a while I will use fragrance oil . My soaps are mainly Organic and vegan but I will put it in my description if I used local Lard or Tallow from the nearby farms. Each soap is made with love and respect of the Craft.

All products are handmade in small batches with high quality ingredients. We take pride in what we make and would never offer a product we don't personally use and love.

Frenchies’ was co-founded by Lou Demers and Matt Dubois. The name of our company is derived from Lou and Matt’s surnames of French-Canadian descent. The approximate English translation of Demers is “Of the Sea,” and for Dubois: “Of the Woods.” Perhaps our heritage is what fuels our love for essential oils, many of which are native and plentiful in New England like balsam fir, pine and cedar - the primary ingredients in our natural insect repellent - Frenchies’ Maine Woods Bug Dope as well as our foaming hand soaps, bar soaps, and room sprays/mists.

Soak is a woman-owned artisan home, bath and body company based in Bloomington, Indiana. I am a scientist by training and have a PhD in Genetics where I worked in cancer research.  After moving across the country, I transitioned out of the world of scientific research. But, after about a year, I found that I missed the bench science and the thinking that came with it. 

I found soap making in 2018. The process of formulating a soap recipe gave me an opportunity to stretch those old 'science' brain muscles, while also giving me a creative outlet. One of my favorite things about being a soaper is diving into the science.  The chemistry of the reactions that happen, the interactions that happen between the soap and our bodies, and everything else that comes with making 'good' soap. It is always interesting to find those ‘wives-tales’ have grounding in scientific fact. 

My creativity and artistic sense is constantly expanding, and I strive to continue to learn everyday, but trust that each soap that you find on this site has been designed by someone with over two decades of experience in scientific labs.

All of the cold process soaps are made-from-scratch and use palm-, phthalate-, and cruelty-free, sustainably sourced ingredients including luxurious oils and butters, clay, herbs, and other natural additives.

I have a retail store in Rothschild, WI where I sell all of my super gentle & nourishing soaps made with organic oils; as well as other local makers creations, antiques, clothing, and more.

I am very proud of the products we make. It all started after my daughter was born with super bad eczema, and hives whenever I tried anything. The only thing that was gentle was handmade soaps. I got tired of the same old scents, and learned how to make my own (don't worry - math is my strong suit - I am an accountant by day). Today, my recipe has evolved even further into something that is great for people with the driest, most sensitive skin. From babies to chemo treatments to everything in between - you will love us! Many of my customers claim to not need lotion in the dry Wisconsin winters - but I still do make an aloe based lotion just in case!

I also do these wood wick candles that come in a tin that are great for travelers. Highly scented & made from MIDWEST grown soybeans! That's right 100% American made!

My soaps change with the seasons, all featuring seawater and at least one type of seaweed. Botanicals are foraged or garden grown when possible, and all oils and fats are sourced as close to home as can be.

Batholith Soaps was started with the intention to combine a love of geology with a love of creating. I use my background in geology to inspire my soap designs, as well as provide an opportunity to create a unique teaching tool. My soaps are small batch in order to allow me to precisely control how they come out, and each comes with an informational card relating to the topic they are designed around.

I have taken the pledge to reduce my plastic use and as such, my packaging is largely free of plastic (I am still looking for a good alternative to tape) and made from recycled materials.

Directions:

Apply a thin layer to moisturize the desired area:  lips, face, body or feet.

For lips: apply a thin layer to your lips. Repeat as often as you like to keep lips moisturized.

For the face: less is more. A tiny amount goes a very long way. Apply a small amount to your index finger and gently smooth out over your face. Remove excess with a cloth and apply less next time.

Will keep for about 12 months at room temperature and well over a year refrigerated.

Dirty Unicorn was founded in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic when Baz, the Dirtiest of Unicorns, found his travel agency suddenly… not going anywhere…

A short while later, after a chance meeting he joined MADE Mercantile in beautiful downtown Woodstock, GA where his products quickly became a community staple. After gaining momentum he was soon joined by his Husbicorn, Stoney and the two of them have been making all the things that make life wonderful since.

Seattle Sundries is a proud Pacific Northwest maker of distinctive handcrafted soaps and skincare products. We produce in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle using all natural ingredients and reusable, recyclable packaging. Our products each have a unique personality and appeal to people with a wide range on interests, scent preferences and senses of humor. We have something for just about everyone.

Our company was founded in 2004 by Anne Sylte Bloom, a North Idaho native who moved to Seattle in 1992. The recipes and scent blends for all our products were created by her, in addition to the original label artwork and the stories that introduce each product. Our shop in Ballard is where all of our products are made by hand, in small batches. We don't currently offer regular retail hours, but we hope to expand our space and be more available to shoppers in person, in the near future. 

We have customers in all 50 states, Canada, Europe and Asia. We started selling on Etsy in 2008, on our own website starting in 2009, and have been successful Amazon merchants since 2011. We offer wholesale to a number of retailers in the region and have created products for the Pike Brewery, Space Needle, and Luly Yang.

Here at Thistle & Barley we strive to create beautiful, nourishing, and skin-loving products, carefully curating each ingredient with these qualities in mind. 

The Thistle & Barley soap lab is based in Frogtown, (South Central) Pennsylvania. We make and cut every small batch of soap by hand which means every bar is unique. Although we try our very best to duplicate batches, due to the handcrafted nature of the soap there will be slight variations in size, color, and design of each bar. All of our soaps are cut and then cured for 4-6 weeks to ensure the bars have hardened sufficiently to last longer. To extend the life of your handcrafted soap, please place it on a soap dish or other surface that drains well to allow the soap to dry between uses.

Le Silo Bleu, also known as The Blue Silo, is a small family run business inspired by our travels in France. The garden of our cottage in Normandy overlooks a large blue silo on the farm next door and it is our ideal vantage point while watching the sun set over the beautiful rural landscape. Our hand poured soy candles, soaps, bath salts and lotion bars are carefully crafted using the highest quality ingredients available. Our candles are made with 100% natural soy wax and lead and zinc free cotton wicks are used. Everything is handmade in small batches so they will be the freshest when they arrive to you.

Please keep in mind that our cold processed soap requires a minimum of 4-6 weeks curing time and will be posted on specific "release days".

Since everything is handmade by us, packaged and hand labelled, there may be slight differences from the photographs or from product to product. We do our best to keep everything in line, weighted the same and labels straight, but we are not perfect so please excuse any of these minor imperfections.

As we add products to our lines, we also plan to add some gifts from France that you can use yourself or give to others.

Soak is a woman-owned artisan home, bath and body company based in Bloomington, Indiana. I am a scientist by training and have a PhD in Genetics where I worked in cancer research.  After moving across the country, I transitioned out of the world of scientific research. But, after about a year, I found that I missed the bench science and the thinking that came with it. 

I found soap making in 2018. The process of formulating a soap recipe gave me an opportunity to stretch those old 'science' brain muscles, while also giving me a creative outlet. One of my favorite things about being a soaper is diving into the science.  The chemistry of the reactions that happen, the interactions that happen between the soap and our bodies, and everything else that comes with making 'good' soap. It is always interesting to find those ‘wives-tales’ have grounding in scientific fact. 

My creativity and artistic sense is constantly expanding, and I strive to continue to learn everyday, but trust that each soap that you find on this site has been designed by someone with over two decades of experience in scientific labs.
