US Conference 2020

Due to government restrictions now in place to deal with novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the 2020 HSCG Annual Conference has been cancelled.
The HSCG is a non-profit organization and as such, our conference is intended to provide a service to the industry and break even financially; we do not make a profit on the conference. For the 2020 Conference, we are under contract with the Connecticut Convention Center and the Hartford Marriott and have made substantial deposits to both. We have also already expended considerable other funds in preparation for the conference.
Over the coming weeks we will determine our plan of action and what steps to take next, including returning funds to our paid attendees. We respectfully ask that you do not inundate us with questions or refund requests as we work through this process. At this point it is unclear when we will be able to finalize all the details, but we will work dilligently to do so.
We know who you are and when and how much you paid for the event. As soon as we have our plan of action, we will let you know. Please hold your questions and requests until that time.
In the meantime, here are some things you should do:
- Cancel your flight and see if you can get a refund or defer it to another date. Airlines have waived change fees due to the coronavirus outbreak.
- Cancel your hotel reservation at The Hartford Marriott, there should be no penalty to do so.
We are so sorry to have to cancel the conference. A conference of this size has a lot of moving parts and we want to be fair to all attendees. We sincerely appreciate your patience during this difficult time.
