US Conference 2025

We are looking for qualified Professional Speakers and Presenters for the 2025 HSCG Conference in Reno, NV. If you would like to be considered and have something to offer the handcrafted soap and cosmetic industry, we want to hear from you!

The HSCG Conference is the largest event for the handcrafted soap and cosmetic industry in the world and each year it gets bigger. We expect 500 attendees in 2025. The conference is 4 days of non-stop presentations and networking in both formal and informal settings. 

The Conference will be broken into three different tracks for attendees to follow:

• Business Track
• Maker Track
• Advanced Track

To improve your chances of being selected to speak, we ask that you submit a topic pertinent to one of these tracks.

• Business Track Topics - Social media, phone photography, advanced marketing techniques, 3D printing, scaling up a business, business expansion, financial techniques, and other related topics.
• Maker Track - Lotion making, facial products, candle making, product design & packaging
• Advanced Maker Track -Advanced formulation, advanced level product creation, wholesale, business growth and other topics geared towards makers who have been in business for 5+ years. For the 2025 Annual Conference, we're looking for more Advanced topics so don't be shy - if you have an Advanced topic idea that isn't listed here, put in a proposal!

You do not need to be a maker to apply as a speaker! Even if you don't make products, we are still accepting applications outside of the industry if your area of expertise lands in one of the tracks above.

If you are applying to present a demo or a hands-on session or to teach attendees how to make a product, you must be HSCG Certified at least at the Basic level in the pertinent product track. You can take your Certification test via Zoom; several dates are available each month! Proposals are only accepted through this system - make sure you submit your proposal by July 31st, 2024 to be considered.

Event Logistics

• Location: The Peppermill Resort, Reno, NV
• Dates: May 5, 2025 to May 8, 2025  (with Intensive Day Seminars on May 5, 2025)
• Deadline to Submit: July 31st

The cutoff date for Presentation Proposal submissions for the 2025 Conference has already passed.

We will post a call for papers for the next conference sometime next late spring or early summer.
