Alkista Botanicals is rooted in the idea that you don’t have to go far from home to source great natural product ingredients for skincare. While other brands travel far and wide to chase down the next best, exotic ingredient from a far-away rainforest or a hard-to-reach ocean, Alkista takes inspiration from traditional Western herbs that are native or naturalized to North America. By home-sourcing our beloved herbs, we shorten the supply chain, support local growers, reduce our carbon footprint, and source the freshest plant-based ingredients possible, which ultimately results in more potent products that simply do what the customer needs them to do. Alkista Botanicals specializes in skincare for dry, mature, and problem skin. Fresher is better. Well-formulated natural skincare never goes out of style. We grow our own Calendula officinalis and Arnica chamissonis, and wildcraft our Plantago spp. from local areas. Some ingredients are sourced from small herbalist-based businesses or other trusted sources. When we lift one another up by supporting other small natural products-based businesses, we all win. Clean ingredients, fresh local botanicals, and novel, gentle formulations that are functional as well as elegant are what Alkista Botanicals is all about. We don’t worry about beauty trends since we’re busy using science to bring you the best possible, locally sourced and thoughtfully-formulated natural skincare that we can, to meet your needs.
