A bit about my soaps - I make all these soaps from scratch, using Oils & Sodium Hydroxide (lye). This process allows the oils & lye to combine to become soap (through Saponification). The end result is TRUE soap like it has been made for hundreds of years. The saponification process completely changes the molecular structure of the oils & lye, so there is only pure soap with no chemicals. I choose oils based on their properties, for example: coconut oil is very cleansing, shea & cocoa butter is very conditioning, etc. I choose additives based on their functions. Some additives can be omitted, so some are purely to make a soap more luxurious, bubbly, or just smell & look great! Please feel free to PM me if you have any questions about my soaps!
