Hi! We’re Brian and Leah, a newlywed couple who embarked on a journey to create something truly special together. In August 2024, we started our small-batch soap business, making products for friends, family, and coworkers. The overwhelmingly positive feedback encouraged us to expand quickly, and before we knew it, we were selling at local farmers markets. Now, we’re focusing on expanding our reach with in-store products, an online website, and social media to connect with even more people. What started with cold process soap quickly blossomed into lotions, balms, shampoo and conditioner bars, body butters, and more. Leah has taken the lead in creating these thoughtful, limited-ingredient recipes, each one designed with purpose and care. Brian has also developed his own popular line of men's beard products, balms, and oils. Previously, Brian was mostly unsatisfied with the conditioning ability and overpowering scent in most beard products. The Bald Guy's beard product line provides an alternative that is highly conditioning and nourishing with a more subtle scent that will not overpower you.

Our mission behind this business is simple: we wanted to live a more self-sourced, sustainable life. By making products like soap, lotion, lip balm, laundry detergent, and toothpaste ourselves, we’re able to control what goes into our bodies and avoid the unnecessary fillers and chemicals found in most store-bought items. This journey is our first step toward living a life untethered from consumerism and unhealthy big-brand products. Looking ahead, we’re excited to transition to a homestead in Maine, where our soap and skincare business will be just one of several revenue streams we maintain as we live off the land. We’re passionate about becoming producers of our own goods and building a life that aligns with our values. Thank you for being part of our story!
