Several membership types are offered, depending on your needs and qualifications. For more information about the different membership types and their benefits, see the Summary of Membership Levels and/or the Member Benefits Comparison Chart.

In addition to the type of membership, you can also choose a membership level. Higher membership levels, or "Benefactor Memberships", allow dedicated individuals the opportunity to become benefactors to the HSMG, providing additional funding for the HSMG's operations. Benefactor members receive additional exposure on the the website, various recognitions and special discounts. You will be offered the opportunity to upgrade your membership when you get to the shopping cart.

If you make soap, but do not market or sell to the public, choose this membership.

Soapmaker Membership (Dues: $500 per year) [More Info]

If you make handcrafted soap and market it to the public and reside in the US, choose this membership.
This membership level includes product liability insurance.

Soapmaker Membership, International (Dues: $100 per year) [More Info]

If you make handcrafted soap and market it to the public and reside outside the US, choose this membership.
This membership level does not include insurance.

Soapmakers Membership, Existing Insurance (Dues: $100 per year) [More Info]

If you make handcrafted soap and market it to the public and already have liability insurance, choose this membership.
This membership level does not include insurance; you will have 15 days to complete the waiver process.

Vendor Membership (Dues: $200 per year) [More Info]

If you provide products or services to those in the handcrafted soap industry, choose this membership.

If you make handcrafted soap and market it to the public AND provide products or services to those in the handcrafted soap industry, choose this membership.

Corporate Membership(Dues: $1,500 per year) [More Info]

If you have a business that supports the handcrafted soap industry and want up to 4 Associate Members to have access to member benefits, choose this membership.
