Batholith Soaps was started with the intention to combine a love of geology with a love of creating. I use my background in geology to inspire my soap designs, as well as provide an opportunity to create a unique teaching tool. My soaps are small batch in order to allow me to precisely control how they come out, and each comes with an informational card relating to the topic they are designed around.

I have taken the pledge to reduce my plastic use and as such, my packaging is largely free of plastic (I am still looking for a good alternative to tape) and made from recycled materials.

Blue Loon Botanicals is an evolving line of bath and body care products that are gentle, hydrating and crafted primarily from plant based ingredients. Blue Loon Botanicals also has a full line of beeswax and soy candles that help clean your air as they burn and help reduce indoor pollutants. Blue Loon Botanicals also seasonally sells true bayberry candles.

Blue Loon Botanicals uses almost exclusively natural ingredients in all product formulations. You will find no synthetic additives but rather high quality natural ingredients, many organic, and all oils and lye of food grade quality. The essentials oils used in these products are either steam distilled or CO2 extracted. Blue Loon Botanicals does not use solvent extracted essential oils so there will never be any trace of chemical solvents in our soap, lotions or candles. On some occasions to satisfy the request of our clients we may used carefully sourced fragrance oils.

Blue Loon Botanical soaps have a natural look since the only colorant ingredients used are derived from natural clay and organic botanical ingredients.

We started creating our own products in 2007 because of our interest in more natural ingredients and sustainable living. A hobby at first, we began attending farmers markets in 2012, and "retired" from teaching in 2013.

We opened our first store in September of 2016 on Trinity st, and have had a wonderful experience.  

In March of 2019 we purchased our own building.  The old Health Department.  We did a renovation and are now enjoying out new space at 101 Church St. 

I am a farmer making soaps for my fellow farmers, ranchers and home gardeners. We all have calloused hands but the reward is the bounty, I believe in functional along with some joy in life. That is why I choose to make my soaps a bit of an art piece out of ingredients I can find on the farm. I believe in the power of beef tallow and I work at raising it daily. Soap is a way to use a practical item, not have it wasted and honor the life that was taken to help feed a family.

We specialize in handcrafted soap and shampoo bars. We use sustainable palm oil along with olive, rice bran, castor and coconut oils to create soaps that are naturally gentle and naturally inspired. We also make a range of other body, skin, and lip care products as well as products for your home, such as soap dishes and air fresheners. We are happy to provide both retail and wholesale services.

Concord Hill Farm began as a blacksmith forge and small flower grower for almost two decades.  Our custom, handcrafted soaps and body products were just a natural extension of the herbs and botanicals we grow annually.  We believe in only using the highest quality, natural ingredients - many locally sourced or even home grown!  We want you to feel good about using our products.  After all, why put it on your skin if you wouldn't put it on your plate?

Dirty Unicorn was founded in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic when Baz, the Dirtiest of Unicorns, found his travel agency suddenly… not going anywhere… 

In a desire to express himself in a new manner (and suddenly WAY too much time on his hands) he began soaping. In a short time he found that not only was the process both soothing and satisfying but his concoctions and experimentations brought joy to people around him. 

A short while later, after a chance meeting he joined MADE Mercantile in beautiful downtown Woodstock, GA where his products quickly became a community staple. After gaining momentum he was soon joined by his Husbicorn, Stoney and the two of them have been making all the things that make life wonderful since. 

Most recently, Baz has had the honor of being dubbed "one of the nation's finest Makers" by becoming a featured competitor on Meet Your Makers Showdown hosted by Crissy Metz, LeAnne Rimes, and Mark Mantano streaming only on discovery+.

Unfortunately, Baz is also a bit risqué and entirely too fond of puns and thus our unique lifestyle brand was given shape.

FarmSudz was started in the basement of our farmhouse with goat milk soap being the first product (hence the company name, 'FarmSudz'). Before diving headfirst into soapmaking and skincare, I worked at the University of Michigan as an RN - running a clinical trials group that explored new therapies in Neurology, Pulmonary and Rheumatology. I had always had a keen interest in herbs and alternative medicine - and FarmSudz became my creative outlet to explore these interests. Our line of high quality soaps, creams and balms, designed to calm the senses and nourish the skin, are available online, at several boutiques throughout Michigan, and at our brick and mortar stores in Chelsea and Jackson, MI.

Four Seasons Soaps are inspired by the beauty of the Appalachian foothills promoting sustainable practices by using organic ingredients, essential oils for scents, natural clays and plant material for color, and recycled paper for packaging. 

We offer soaps made the old fashioned way with updated ingredients. Using basic,  ingredients such as oatmeal, honey, herbs, beeswax and an array of food grade, finest quality, sustainable oils and butters. Every bar has something from the hive either beeswax, honey or both. The soaps are scented with essential oils. We prefer to use natural colorants. However nature identical micas can be fun. Each product is made personally by us from start to finish. We self-test all products before we sell them. Each variety of soap is produced in small batches of 18 to 20 bars. The freshly made soap is hand cut into bars and allowed to cure for 6 weeks. Because the soap is hand cut no two bars will be exactly alike.

At Goat Isle Soap, we make cold process soap in small batches using raw goats milk and natural ingredients. For exfoliation and presentation, we use herbs, spices, clays, dried flowers and honey, which come from local farms. Our Fern Isle line consists of plant based soaps made using the same cold process method. We also offer solid shampoo bars and solid pet shampoo which is a specially designed line of solid shampoo bars for your dog.

In addition, we specialize in creating natural skincare products including body scrubs, balms and lotions. All of these items are made with the same standard as our soaps which incorporates high quality ingredients with inspiration from nature to heal your body and skin.

Jennifer Hofmann is the owner of Jennifer’s Handmade Soap based in Ayer, MA. The endless design possibilities captured her love for soapmaking. “Soap should be more than just functional” sums up her stance on soap! Color and design guide everything she does.

Jennifer has been making soap since 2009 where she fell into it by accident. Once she made her first batch of soap she found she couldn’t stop. She was fascinated by the science of soap making, but it was the design possibilities that captured her love for soap making. In 2012 Jennifer officially started Jennifer’s Handmade Soap. Jennifer continues to study her craft and experiment with new designs. She’s learned a lot, but there’s so much more still to learn and she knows she’ll be a soap student for life.

Jennifer’s goal is to always make a great bar of soap (or bath product) that is also visually fun. I am the owner of Magique (formerly Tracy Heppes Creations), a Bath & Beauty business set on taking out the mystery (and unnecessary ingredients) of products and putting in the magic! All of the magic! After what seemed like an existential crisis, I renamed my company and changed my whole lineup in 2022. I wanted to focus on the “Magiqual” side of life!
