1. Hello, each soap at LuZunika headquarters are made by me in my humble home. I make sure I make each soap with thought,handcrafted with my own recipe's and I pick natural ingredients. I love Essential oils but once in a while I will use fragrance oil . My soaps are mainly Organic and vegan but I will put it in my description if I used local Lard or Tallow from the nearby farms. Each soap is made with love and respect of the Craft.

I started making handcrafted soap in 2013 to cut back on the chemicals that me and my family were applying to our skin. Within the year people started asking if they could purchase some. The first order was tea tree soap. From there people started asking for other types of products like body butters and scrubs. This went on for about a year before I actually realized I have a business going on and decided to name it and that I needed to a tax ID number.

I have never looked back and enjoy every minute of every item that I make.

I have a retail store in Rothschild, WI where I sell all of my super gentle & nourishing soaps made with organic oils; as well as other local makers creations, antiques, clothing, and more.

I am very proud of the products we make. It all started after my daughter was born with super bad eczema, and hives whenever I tried anything. The only thing that was gentle was handmade soaps. I got tired of the same old scents, and learned how to make my own (don't worry - math is my strong suit - I am an accountant by day). Today, my recipe has evolved even further into something that is great for people with the driest, most sensitive skin. From babies to chemo treatments to everything in between - you will love us! Many of my customers claim to not need lotion in the dry Wisconsin winters - but I still do make an aloe based lotion just in case!

I also do these wood wick candles that come in a tin that are great for travelers. Highly scented & made from MIDWEST grown soybeans! That's right 100% American made!

I love natural, homemade soap. I always have. I watched my mother make it on our small hobby farm in Michigan with home rendered tallow. I have enjoyed making soap and other beauty products occasionally throughout my life, and now do it for a purpose, not only for the fun of it.

Allergies to sulfates, most scents and a severe aloe vera allergy (among other things and foods) have made me thankful for my experiences. I can make products not only safe for myself (and others) but also products that I love.

We have several types of unscented soaps- hand and body, dish and laundry, shave and shampoo soaps that are scent, SLS, dye, sulfate, aloe vera, phthalate and gluten free. We have eco friendly packaging as well.

Frenchies’ was co-founded by Lou Demers and Matt Dubois. The name of our company is derived from Lou and Matt’s surnames of French-Canadian descent. Le Silo Bleu, also known as The Blue Silo, is a small family run business inspired by our travels in France. The garden of our cottage in Normandy overlooks a large blue silo on the farm next door and it is our ideal vantage point while watching the sun set over the beautiful rural landscape. It's a perfect escape from the busyness of everyday life- a moment of calm and a breath of fresh air.

Our hand poured soy candles, soaps, bath salts and lotion bars are carefully crafted using the highest quality ingredients available. Our candles are made with 100% natural soy wax and lead and zinc free cotton wicks are used. Everything is handmade in small batches so they will be the freshest when they arrive to you.

Please keep in mind that our cold processed soap requires a minimum of 4-6 weeks curing time and will be posted on specific "release days".

Since everything is handmade by us, packaged and hand labelled, there may be slight differences from the photographs or from product to product. We do our best to keep everything in line, weighted the same and labels straight, but we are not perfect so please excuse any of these minor imperfections.

As we add products to our lines, we also plan to add some gifts from France that you can use yourself or give to others.

We started creating our own products in 2007 because of our interest in more natural ingredients and sustainable living. A hobby at first, we began attending farmers markets in 2012, and "retired" from teaching in 2013.

We opened our first store in September of 2016 on Trinity st, and have had a wonderful experience.  

In March of 2019 we purchased our own building.  The old Health Department.  We did a renovation and are now enjoying out new space at 101 Church St.

The quest for a healthier life and products that are good for the body, good for the soul and good for the planet started with a little cabin in the woods.

The weekend getaway slowly turned into a new way of life with a mission and a purpose,  as we experimented with creating all natural products that could easily be incorporated into daily life and then started sharing those products with our friends at home and at the farmer's markets. Tired of needing a dictionary and chemistry degree to decipher food and skincare labels, we initially concentrated on those two areas to create fresh and healthy food for our farm and our fresh, high quality goat's milk soap and skin care line which quickly developed a huge following. As we talk the talk, we also try to walk the walk: the farm generates about half of its electricity with its own solar system; chemical fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides are absent from the farm; the animals live on pastures and their diet is mainly hay-based (which is locally sourced); the feed for the lactating goats is reviewed and approved by AWA, and consists of at least 50% of Alfalfa pellets to reduce GMO content; and the chickens are truly free-range. As a result of our sustainable practices, the farm has been Animal Welfare Approved Certified for 5 years and is also LilMamaApproved.

Our philosophy and desire to reduce the farm's and our hoof print on Earth is now stronger than ever and is slowly reaching into other areas of the farm such as making our own dog-biscuits without preservatives, using all natural protective outdoor sprays and by using eco-responsible packaging with soy inks and recycled paper without glue; by producing products free of chemicals, artificial dyes, cancer causing preservatives or alcohols. To accomplish all this, of course we need help, and we have incorporated a program where we host, free of charge, like-minded people of all ages on the farm to pass on our knowledge and passion for a humane and healthy Earth.

When we learned about the nasty chemicals that are lurking in most bath and beauty aisles (and the ingredients that should be there, but aren't!), we set out on a mission to learn how to make moisturizing, nutrient-rich soaps and other products by hand. One of our goals in creating The Releafery is to get back to basics by using simple, natural ingredients that come straight from the earth. Our soaps, salves, lotions, lip balms, scrubs, and other goodies are made from all natural plant butters, pure essential oils, and other ingredients that are revitalizing for your body. We also carry an array of items made by other environmentally conscious creators!

Another reason The Releafery was born was to provide sustainable options for bath and beauty products as well as items for your kitchen and home. We're all aware of the waste problems our planet encounters, but it can be challenging to find sustainable solutions. We consider sustainability in every aspect of our business including packaging, ingredients, and shipping. The Releafery intends to make it easy for you to use low waste and zero waste products that you can feel good about.

What makes handmade soaps from Sweet Home Soaps different from other handmade soap vendors? Ingredients. What you put on your skin matters. I use aloe juice and milks as a replacement for the water in my recipe. I use a large portion of conditioning oils and butters (20% butters for most recipes). The butters I use are high quality, organic in most instances, and less refined to retain the wonderful properties of each. I use enough coconut oil to lend a nice lather, but not so much that it strips your skin of natural oils. I use a higher than average superfat to further balance my bar. I utilize luxurious additives like real cruelty-free Tussah silk and/or colloidal oatmeal to elevate my bar. Because I do not participate in markets or shows, I have to rely on the internet to sell my soaps. When you shop online, you shop with your eyes. That's why my designs are eye catching, elegant, or "over-the-top." They're still usable soap. They are not complicated to use, they feel good in the hand thanks to the hand-beveling of all the sharp edges, and they don't contain harsh ingredients like sulfates, parabens, or phthalates. Handmade soap is not just for gift-giving, it's for using. Because you're worth it.

Our soaps and cosmetics are made with high quality oils, butters, clays, honey and botanicals. Our soaps will clean but not leave you feeling dry. We use the cold process method and cure for a minimum of six weeks to ensure a hard but not harsh bar of soap. Any colors you see in our products come from the oils, butters, clays, charcoal or other plant colorants. We use only unadulterated essential oils for scent.

All of our soaps are made with love from scratch at our small farm, using milk from our beautiful and happy Alpine and Nubian Goats, along with other natural, locally sourced materials. Soaps are scented with pure essential oils. Some have dried organic herbs added for texture or coloring. For some extra-soothing suds, try some of our Premium soaps featuring wildcrafted plantain and/or activated charcoal. Stow your soap in one of our crocheted cotton soap cozies, available in a wide variety of colors. To help sooth itchy skin, try our three ingredient, wildcrafted Plantain Leaf Salve. I have been making soap since 2010 and loving every minute. I started with the help of a goat farmer who wanted goat milk soap. I've been self taught, reading tons of books, watching videos. I also taught several classes through a local museum to help educate and encourage soap making. My soaps are made with pure oils and butters, I use soaping grade essential oils and color with micas. I make my soap at home, on the St. Lawrence River. I enjoy my small studio with which customers can stop by and purchase my soaps. I also enjoy participating in Farmers markets during the summer when all the fresh produce is abundant. I am a gardener of fresh herbs and incorporate many of them in my oils to enhance my soaps. I love and study essential oils and love the way a soap can transport your mind and body to a wonderful place. 

We are a small soap business, established by a teenage entrepreneur (me, Hailey)! Our company began in 2013 out of Turlock, California in a small kitchen out of my home.

All products are handmade in small batches, with the goal of not only providing customers with high-quality products, but providing the customer with a unique bath and body experience.

After 9 years of building this business, it never gets old to see the joy on a customer’s face as they take home a new product to make their life a little bit brighter. We manufacture soaps, lotions, scrubs, balms, moisturizers, candles, diffusers, mists, and more. We sell direct to consumer, wholesale, and private label.

Each bar, each batch, each product, is created and crafted with you in mind. We want everyone who has skin to be able to enjoy our products that's why we use only pure essential oils, organic and Fair Trade ingredients when possible, and take the time to create, blend, and test each product line.

It shows in our finished product, but it also shows in how customers become friends because they come back over and over again for our products.

We live in Northern Alabama on a 10 acre farm and have a small goat herd. We make homemade Goat Milk Soap from the milk of Miss EmmyLou.
