1. Hello, each soap at LuZunika headquarters are made by me in my humble home. I make sure I make each soap with thought,handcrafted with my own recipe's and I pick natural ingredients. I love Essential oils but once in a while I will use fragrance oil . My soaps are mainly Organic and vegan but I will put it in my description if I used local Lard or Tallow from the nearby farms. Each soap is made with love and respect of the Craft.

I began this company because my granddaughter suffers from different skin allergies. After many hours of researching, we came up with some products. My son convinced me to try selling our products at our local county fair. We began to branch out to other festivals, craft fairs, and online sales. You shouldn't have to pay more just because you have an allergy. We believe everyone should have choices no matter what their allergy is.

I love natural, homemade soap. I always have. I watched my mother make it on our small hobby farm in Michigan with home rendered tallow. I have enjoyed making soap and other beauty products occasionally throughout my life, and now do it for a purpose, not only for the fun of it.

Allergies to sulfates, most scents and a severe aloe vera allergy (among other things and foods) have made me thankful for my experiences. I can make products not only safe for myself (and others) but also products that I love.

We have several types of unscented soaps- hand and body, dish and laundry, shave and shampoo soaps that are scent, SLS, dye, sulfate, aloe vera, phthalate and gluten free. We have eco friendly packaging as well.

Daughter Alchemy was created in 2018 by Janeen Locker, Ph.D., a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice with over 25 years of experience treating trauma in adolescents and adults. She started the handblended product line inspired by the beneficial effect of aromatherapy she experienced while going through a painful divorce and with the aim to fund her two daughters’ college tuitions. She named the line Daughter Alchemy to mark the alchemical change she experienced within herself when she became a mother and to honor all women who share the common experience of being daughters.

The idea for this shop started in Portland, OR. Where we were gardening, beekeeping, hen pampering, crafty Oregonians. Brandywine Soap Garden is a woman-owned business dedicated to providing high quality bath products that you can trust. All ingredients are food-quality, natural and beneficial to your skin. Solid lotion bars, beard balm, and lip balm are some of the other products I make.

Nestled in Southwestern Colorado, scenic Telluride should be on everyone’s “bucket list.” This idyllic mountain community became our inspiration for abandoning the high stress of corporate life and branch out to focus on taking care of ourselves and helping others do the same. Not surprisingly, Telluride offered many opportunities to learn more about natural ingredients with input from like-minded artisans and handcrafters. 

Previous work with a mid-size skin care company led us to discover how difficult it is to adequately eliminate harsh chemical preservatives and synthetics from sourced ingredients and base products. Locating labs willing to formulate without these additives was difficult. It became clear that working in-house on a smaller scale was essential to bringing authentic, truly natural products to market.

Started pouring soap in empty sneaker boxes lined with plastic back in 1999 in the High Desert of New Mexico. Now pouring 1000 lbs per session. I cut them down and do everything else including shipping them out. Only helper is a labeler who comes in a couple times a month to get them dressed up for their new homes. Big six ounce bars with unique colors and 14 flavors that proved themselves over the 3 dozen or more that I labeled up as part of the lineup over the last 25 years. I love every aspect of a soap career and plan to continue until I 80 years old.....maybe longer.

Greetings! My name is Dayanne and I am the owner and creator of Dara's Soapery. I started with melt and pour soap while I was pregnant. Once I really got into soap making, I did a lot of research on making soap from scratch! I loved the sound of natural soap and how I can express my creative side with different designs. I personally love a really good nourishing and good smelling soap while in the shower. My goal is to provide you with an excellent bar of soap that provides a moisturized skin and a relaxing experience in the shower! Who doesn’t need to wash away their stress these days? For me the shower is where I can relieve most stress and take a moment for myself. I absolutely love being a mom and being able to work while being home for my beautiful baby girl. Our glycerin soaps are even wrapped in Biolefin, a shrink wrap made from algae which breaks down into beneficial biomass (worm food) instead of microplastics and can be composted. Set your brand apart from the rest with a fully customized soap recipe!

If you would like to develop a soap line as part of your brand, we recommend this option so that you will own your soap recipe as our recipes are proprietary. Recipe development starts at $600 and includes sample batches to test. Minimums are 144 soaps per scent. The recipe development charge is a one-time fee. 

Cost per bar depends on the ingredients you use. If you use all organic oils, specialty oils, expensive essential oils, etc. the cost will be higher. In general, these prices will reflect comparable wholesale pricing.

Developing specialty products in collaboration with brands is our favorite thing to do. It's a lot of fun! We love bringing our expertise and combining it with your expertise to create something better than either of us could have done alone!

We could claim our products are all organic, yet doing so would be dishonest.  We source as much as we can from organic, eco-friendly and free-trade sources. However, it’s not always possible. Our Beginning

It was 2004, and we lived in Bella Coola, British Columbia. A soap maker there encouraged me to try making my own plant-based soap. No tallow or lard. Just oils sourced from plants.

My first batch of vegan soap refused to solidify. So seeking answers, to the internet I went. I discovered two life-changing resources—TheSage.com and Zensoaps.com. I learned how to make lotions and develop soap recipes at Majestic Mountain Sage, and how to make hot process soap from Zensoaps.com.

I sold soap and lotion bars in Bella Coola until we returned to the U.S. in 2007. My career went in another direction for a few years. However, I continued making small batches of soap and lotion at the request of friends.

Then 2020 arrived. A webinar sparked the idea of launching my arnica lotion on Amazon. Then I found a reasonably priced THC-free CBD source—Essential Depot.

Now, I have five lotions, two creams and a body polish for sale. I also make unique plant-based bar soaps.
