For Soap & Cosmetic Handcrafters

The Handcrafted Soap & Cosmetic Guild is the only international not-for-profit trade association serving the handcrafted soap and cosmetic industry. While the Association is supported by memberships, as a trade association our responsiblity is not to just the membership, but also to the industry as a whole1.

One of the objectives of the HSCG is to foster the handcrafted soap and cosmetic industry through education and training. In keeping with that goal, we provide non-partisan, science-backed information in our How-To Library which covers all types of information relating to the making and selling of handcrafted soaps, cosmetics and candles. Our HSCG teachers offer Soap and cosmetic making classes, and the Annual Conference is open to both members and non-members

Another objective of the HSCG is to act as a center of communication among, and to circulate information beneficial to, members of the handcrafted soap and cosmetic industry. We provide up-to-date information about our legislative advocacy on behalf of the industry. Anyone may Register on our website to receive any of our eNewsletters and/or get News and Updates via our social media outlets.
