River House Soap

I have been making soap since 2010 and loving every minute. I started with the help of a goat farmer who wanted goat milk soap. I've been self taught, reading tons of books, watching videos. I also taught several classes through a local museum to help educate and encourage soap making. My soaps are made with pure oils and butters, I use soaping grade essential oils and color with micas. I make my soap at home, on the St. Lawrence River. I enjoy my small studio with which customers can stop by and purchase my soaps. I also enjoy participating in Farmers markets during the summer when all the fresh produce is abundant. I am a gardener of fresh herbs and incorporate many of them in my oils to enhance my soaps. I love and study essential oils and love the way a soap can transport your mind and body to a wonderful place.
