Board of Directors

Members of the Board of Directors of the Handcrafted Soap and Cosmetic Guild are elected for two-year terms. Three board seats come up for election on even years, and three board seats and the Presidency come up for election on odd years. Elections take place in the spring at the Annual Conference. Terms start on July 1 and end on June 30.

The HSCG President and Board serve as volunteers and are not paid. Those who have chosen to serve on the Board have shown their true dedication to the HSCG and the handcrafted soap and cosmetic industry through their selfless service to and for the HSCG.

Cathleen Timberlake, President

Cathleen Timberlake is the creator of Monastery Scents Handcrafted Soap, located in Clyde, Missouri. She manages this business for the Community of Benedictine Sisters, of which she is a member Cathleen has been a member of the HSCG since 2002 and was elected to the Board in 2008 for a two year term and relected in 2010 and 2012. In July, 2012, she was appointed to the position of President, replacing Leigh O'Donnell, who was hired as the Executive Director of the HSCG.

Feleciai Favroth,
Vice-President

Feleciai is the owner of Skin Care by Feleciai in Oakland, California. She has been a member of the HSCG since February 2008 and served on the 2009 Conference Committee, as well as other committees. She was elected in 2009 to serve a two-year term (2009-2011). In 2011 she was re-elected to serve an additional two year term from 2011 - 2013. Feleciai was appointed to the Vice-President's position in July, 2012.

Barb De Los Santos,
Secretary

Barb De Los Santos is the owner of Barb's Homemade Soaps and More in Adrian, Michigan. She has been an HSCG member since 2006. She served on Conference Ground Crew in 2009 and as the Soapers Showcase Coordinator for the 2010 Annual Conference. Barb was elected to the Board in 2010 to serve for 2 years, her term ending in June, 2012.

Treasurer

Julie is the owner of Kreative Kraftwerks near Fond du Lac, Wisconsin and has been a member of the HSCG since 2008. She attended her first HSCG conference in Palm Springs in 2009, was on the 2010 Conference Ground Crew in Denver and served as an Assistant Coordinator at the 2011 Conference in Miami. Julie was elected to the Board of Directors in 2011 to serve a two year term ending in 2013.

Member

Beth Byrne, owner of Soap and Garden, in Rochester, New York, has been a member of the HSCG since 2009. She served as a member of the Public Relations Committee in 2010, and was subsequently appointed to fill a vacancy on the Board of Directors through 2011. Beth was elected in 2011 to serve a two year term ending in 2013.

Jennifer Grimes is the owner of Loft Soap in San Francisco, California. She has been a member of the HSCG since 2009. Jen served on the 2010 and 2011 Conference Ground Crews. She was elected to the Board of Directors in 2012 to serve a 2 year term ending in 2014.

Tami is the owner of Beehive Soap and Body Care in South Jordan, Utah. She has been a member of the HSCG since 2010. She served on the 2011 Conference Committee was elected to the Board of Directors in 2012 to serve a two year term. Contact:
