The HSCG is proud to offer affordable insurance options to Professional and Private Label Members! Professional Members can take advantage of a few different policies and add-ons (see the chart below for a comparison). If you're a Private Label Member, please call Veracity at 844-520-6989 for assistance with a quote.
In the comparison chart below, you'll see three options: RLI (this is for comparison ONLY, the HSCG does not offer this policy), along with our Minimal and Standard policies. The pricing you see below is dependent on your company's gross annual income; if your business made more than $250k in the past year, please contact us at mbrservices@soapguild.org for a quote.
The HSCG encourages you to compare our insurance options with other coverage available to handcrafted soap, cosmetic, and candle businesses. While our policies are comprehensive and affordable, the most important thing is that you protect your business and yourself in case of a claim!

Membership: HSCG Insurance is available only to members and is purchased at the same time as membership.
Duration: Coverage runs the annual term of membership, starting and ending the same day. Members without insurance who sign up for a new membership term with insurance will receive pro-rated credit for the unused portion of the existing membership. Please contact our office – this cannot be done via the HSCG store.
Veracity Portal Access: Once purchased, the member can manage the insurance through the Insurance Portal with Veracity Insurance Solutions. The Insurance Portal allows the member to view coverage, add Additional Insureds, view or print the actual policy, etc.
